Don't Forget: The Tax Department Has Moved
The Buncombe County Tax Department is now located at 35 Woodfin Street, (in the former Buncombe County Health Center) across from the YMCA in downtown Asheville.
The Tax Department moved out of their offices on the third floor of the County Courthouse where they had been located for more than 50 years. The move allows construction and renovations to begin on the Courthouse life safety tower and addition.
Parking for the Tax Office is in front of 35 Woodfin Street or in the Parking Deck on College Street. For more information about the move, call the Tax Office at 250-4910.
